(KRON) -- Two San Jose residents were arrested for drug trafficking and illegal weapons, the San Jose Police Department announced on Monday. Omar Box, 24, and Laneyia Santos, 19, both of San Jose, were arrested on July 14 at around 10:30 p.m. following a long-term drug and weapons trafficking investigation.SJPD Midnight Patrol officers conducted an in-depth investigation in response to an observed increase in narcotics and fentanyl activity in their respective beats, police said. The investigation was led by District Sam patrol officers and members of the SJPD METRO unit. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Quarterback Anthony Richardson, the fourth overall pick in the NFL draft, and the Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms Monday on four-year, $34 million contract that’s fully guaranteed.Richardson was one of the few remaining first-round picks who remained unsigned with training camps either underway or about to begin.The Colts are counting on the former Florida star to provide some long-term stability at the sport’s most important position. They drafted Richardson behind 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young and C.J. An investigation got underway in Dorchester Monday after a deadly stabbing at a home for veterans. SKY7-HD was over the scene near Hartford Street on Monday afternoon, where a heavy police presence was visible. Later speaking to reporters, Boston Police Superintendent Felipe Colon said first responders found a man in the home suffering from a stab wound. “Unfortunately, the adult male did not survive his wounds,” Colon said. Family members of three people involved in a plane crash in Stow on Sunday recently described the situation as a miracle as their loved ones continue their recoveries. “I saw the airplane wreckage, and I said ‘I have no idea how they could survive,’” Louis Bauer told reporters.
